TO THE HEAVENS

The “To the Heavens” lamp prototype, 3D-printed with ABS and soluble support materials, draws inspiration from the graceful arcs of comets and the fluid motions of ballet dancers. Evolving from these inspirations, it embodies a sense of gentle power. A significant challenge encountered in the design process was integrating the light socket into the printed shell. This obstacle was overcome by incorporating threaded inserts into precisely sized holes on the shell.
