PolyEye Divider
Inspired by insects’ compound vision, PolyEye Divider is a modular space divider that plays with perception. Certain modules are hollow, while others feature integrated lenses that completely reframe the perception of the space behind them. By rearranging these pieces, users can create entirely new visual sequences, turning the divider itself into an interactive installation. It’s a quiet, intellectual kind of playfulness—relying on the clever use of optics.

The concept was initially explored through a jewelry monocle design, featuring tiny lenses set into a copper plate.

This design was later reimagined on a larger scale to transform it into a spatial divider. To facilitate transportation, the structure was modularized, incorporating a new lens configuration and the use of cherrywood as structural material.
